Most apps add moderation after something goes wrong. Boonmate was built the other way round: consent, reporting and privacy defaults came before the feed did.
Versioned consent
Each circle's rules carry a version. Change them and every member is asked again before they post.
Reporting everywhere
Profiles, messages, posts, events, live rooms. Blocking is immediate and silent to the other person.
A real moderation queue
Reports land in a queue that people work through, with an outcome sent back to the person who reported.
Private by default
Your profile, location precision and circle memberships start closed. You choose what opens up.
Anonymous mode

Fair questions
Is Boonmate a dating app?
No. Boonmate is built for friendship and belonging: interest and support circles, small events, and direct messages. There is no swiping and no matching algorithm.
Is Boon AI a therapist?
No. Boon AI is guided support, not therapy. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services. When a conversation suggests someone may be at risk, Boon AI surfaces crisis resources.
How do you keep people safe?
Every circle publishes rules you consent to before joining. Reporting and blocking sit on every profile, message, circle and event, and reports go to a moderation queue that people work through.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan covers circles, events, direct messages and Boon AI check-ins. Basic, Plus and Pro are not on sale yet, and we will publish pricing before charging anyone.
When is it launching?
Early access is opening in stages, and we are not naming a date we cannot keep. Join the waitlist and we will email you when your invite is ready.
How do you handle my data?
Private defaults, no third-party trackers on this page, and no selling of member data. The privacy policy sets out what we store, why, and how to delete it.
Do I have to talk to anyone straight away?
No. Reading a circle, listening in a live room and browsing events are all normal ways to start. Nobody is nudged to post.
